1860-10-04: Final Fate: Op reis met een lading lijnzaad van St. Petersburg naar Harlingen is de BAREND, kapt. Both, door stormweer op 4 oktober 1860 op zijde geslagen, en, drijvende gebleven, op de kust van Jutland bij Lemvig gestrand. De opvarenden werden gered, doch schip en lading gingen totaal verloren.
