2007-10-00: Op 20-10-2007, onderweg van Japan naar Vladivostok, op 50 mijl ten westen van Mokpho, Zuid Korea, in positie 34.47 NB. en 125.31 OL., scheuren in de huid opgelopen waarna water in de machinekamer stroomde, de bemanning gered door 2 schepen van de Koreaanse kustwacht, reddingsactie onder begeleiding van RCC Mokpho en Vladivostok, schip door een sleepboot op sleeptouw genomen en naar Mokpo gesleept voor inspectie.

2009-02-06: 06-02-2009 uitgebrand in de buurt van Vladivostok, naar Vladivostok gebracht, door eigenaar afstand van gedaan.

2009-02-06: Lloyds List - Portsmouth, UK, Feb. 6 - At 18.05,Febr. 5, the authorities at Vladivostok received information about a fire on general cargo ALMIRA G (2044 gt, built 1979), 10 crew on board, all citizens of Russia. The vessel is located in the Sea of Japan, 42 nautical miles from the port of Vladivostok, in lat 42-38.8N, long 131-35.0E. The entire superstructure is enveloped in flames. The crew, except for the master, is situated in the bow section of the vessel. According to priliminary information the master has died. The vessel was en route from Busan to Vladivostok with a cargo of construction materials on deck. Salvage vessel LAZURIT is en route to the scene, together with the fire launch ENERGETIC. Two other vessels are in the area, one of which, FESCO ULAN-EDE, removed the crew, at 22.45 hrs and took them to the port of Slavyanka where they arrived at 04.40 today. Weather in the region: wind north-easterly at 8-10 m/sec, wae height 1,5 - 2,0 m.
Portsmouth, UK, Feb. 6 - At 06.38 today, Vladivostok MRCC reported that general cargo ALMIRA G had arrived at Vladivostok under the tow of salvage tug LAZURIT. He also reported that a search was being conducted in the still smoking accomodation areas of the vessel for the missing, presumed dead, master and also to establish the reason for the fire and the extent of the damage prior to repairs.

2009-04-00: Final Fate: This is what IHS/Fairplay reported on this vessel - Caught fire in accomodation 6 miles east of Bolshoy Pelis Island near Vladivostok, Russia in lat. 42-38N long. 131.35E, at 01.58 hours lt on 06/02/09 and requested assistance. Subsequently sold for breaking up.
Eight crew members rescued by mv LUKOMORYE at 05.26 hours lt. the same day. Taken to Slavyanka. Captain later found dead in burnt out accomodation block. Tugs PREDANNYY and NAPORISTYY assisted with firefighting operations. Taken in tow of tug LAZURIT to Vladivostok for inspection. Subsequently vessel abandoned by owners in burnt out condition. 00/04/09 - Arrived at unknown breakers.
