1908-12-00: In december 1908 is het schip zwaar lek en met stormschade binnengelopen te Rio de Janeiro en aldaar dezelfde maand afgekeurd. Het was op weg van Taltal naar Brake met een lading nitraat.

1909-01-09: NRC 090109
Rotterdam, 9 januari. Het Nederlandse schip ADRIANA, kapt. G. Bruin, 24 september op reis van Taltal naar Brake met schade te Rio de Janeiro binnengelopen, is afgekeurd en verkocht. De ADRIANA is in 1892 van staal gebouwd te Alblasserdam en meet 1804 ton bruto en 1740 ton netto.

1922-02-27: In December of that year 1908, she put into the port of Rio de Janeiro with voyage damages and, likely abandoned to underwriters. During the period Lloyd Nacional came to being by 1915,
Giuseppe Martinelli, the Head of the company acquired her, and the ship was sent full refit at Rio de Janeiro at Ponta do Cajú owner's workshop.
Her first voyage was in the deep-sea traffic commencing by December 1920 from Rio de Janeiro to Genoa - with coffee ! She did not make too many voyages. After this one, she went down to the River Plate for a corn shipment from Rosario de S.Fe back to Santos and Rio, going as far as Fortaleza. On
the way back to the south Brazilian ports during the passage between Santos and Porto Alegre, she wrecked at about 5 miles outside the coast of a town named Imbituba; her engine room was flooded very fastly and she foundered at about 7 pm of same day 27 February 1922, we can say, at the beginning of her new life, under Brazilian flag.
